Degrassi Season 12 Finale Airdate Changed

Big news Degrassians Stephen confirmed on Twitter that the one hour Season 12 finale of Degrassi titled "Time of My Life" airdate has been changed from April 12 to sometime in June or early July but he also has said that Degrassi Season 13 will still premiere in July.

Degrassi Nominated For Two Youth Media Alliance Awards

Degrassi is nominated for two Youth Media Alliance Awards!!! They have been nominated in Awards of Excellence for Best Television Program, All Genres, Teen Category for Never Ever Part Two and Award of Excellence Best Convergent App for the Degrassi Mobile Game. The Winners will be announced at an official awards gala in Toronto on May 28th.

Degrassi Episode Review: Karma Police

Fiona's Plot: Fiona plot had to deal with her feeling alone again as her roommate Drew moved out a went back home and she can't find no one so she starts to cling to Twitter.

      Fiona feeling lonely has a big part in this part with her roommate Drew moving out, and Imogen and Eli being busy with other things, Fiona feels like she has no one to turn too so she finds comfort in Twitter where she gets a lot of attention. Now you get a good feeling when people start following you, retweet, and reply to you on Twitter. With these thing happening on Twitter Fiona feels that she is not alone with Twitter. Fiona starts posting information about her on Twitter like  when she goes and comes from work, how she lives alone, and how she is a former rich girl she sees no problem with that but with her tweets it also shows her location but Fiona has no idea what that is.

Fiona's loft is broken into and she is rob now there is no proff that she was robbed by on of her followers in Twitter but you can assume maybe so because of her tweets telling her location so the person can know where she lives and if she is home or not. This plot shows the danger of posting too much info online in fact I know someone who has went through what Fiona has gone through in this plot. Fiona is traumatized by what has happen even though  she wasn't physically harmed  this plot showed how she is still scared and feels not safe because the robber wasn't caught and she feels that he can come back anytime. Fiona feels helpless and like there is nothing she can do and that he can come back at any moment with Fiona feeling like there is nothing she can do and feeling like there is no one to turn to she goes to desperate measures to make sure she is safe.

Fiona has to deal with everything that has happen all alone she it is understandable why she would do anything to make sure  she is safe by using a gun. By feeling the cops are not doing their job she goes to the shooting range to learn how to shoot she learns that she has to do a lot of things before she can own a gun which Fiona doesn't want to wait for because she feels that she needs protection right now. Fiona goes to a bad part of town and attempts to buy a guy from some thugs they lead her into this dark alley and she is robbed once again. Which I was kinda surprised Degrassi did but at the same time I wasn't.

It's understandable why Fiona was gullible at that moment because she was desperate this plot showed that people would do things that doesn't make sense like going into a dark alley with a bunch of thugs when they are scared feel helpless and desperate. Now with that scene Fiona tried to defend herself but failed and she spends the night in a hospital with this Fiona feels that she can now protect herself that she can stand on her own that she can't be scared forever. Now this was a little surprising due to the fact that Fiona spent most of the episode still scared because of the break in but it was also good because it showed that things would be ok after the fact of a break in.

I thought this plot was good on many points. Degrassi has had a lot of strong really great plots this season, so this plot I will give a B+

B+

Zig's Plot: Zig's plot had to do with him feeling guilt from Cam's suicide, this plot had got a lot of good some fans thought that Zig was great and enjoyed the plot while some fans thought this plot wasn't needed which I disagree about.

Zig has grown a lot since he first came on Degrassi some people thought when he first came that he was  a waste of space that he wasn't really good but I like Zig he is one of my favorite characters he has changed since he first came he is showing more emotion and interaction from when he first came. With this plot Zig feels guilty for Cam's suicide and he is taking it out in anger dissing Tori and trashing Madame Jean-Aux car, he got detention for that and decided to make it up to her by singing a song for the French Club since a performer couldn't make it. Zig singing Zou Bisou Bisou was hilarious. Zig has no clue what the song means he dedicated the song to Madame Jean-Aux the song was about romance, which could of gotten both Madame Jean-Aux and Zig in trouble if people thought that they were having a romantic relationship, he storms out the classroom when the crowd laughs at him and when he finds out what the song really meant. Zig still feels guilty about Cam's suicide he he wants to make things right and doesn't want to hurt anyone else with his actions.

Zig gives a big apology to everyone he has hurt which was great. Zig has done some bad things like going after Maya while he was still with Tori etc, but he felt remorseful and give a public apology for what he has done. I think this plot was great it showed that Degrassi characters who have a good image or a bad image can't be always what you think they are. I give this plot an A.

Degrassi Season 12 Finale Episode Title Change

The episodes titles for the spring block of season 12 was released awhile ago by Stephen at the readthroughs it was shown that the finale of season 12 episode title was "It's The End Of The World As We Know It" but Stephen confirmed yesterday on Twitter that the title for the season 12 finale was changed to "The Time Of My Life".

Degrassi Episode Preview Discussion: Karma Police Part 1

Its friday which means none other than Degrassi Friday!!! I have been looking forward to this episode. The plots for this episode looks great with Fiona, Dallas, and Zig having the plots in Karma Police.  Fiona’s plot was accidentally spoiled at the readthrough for this episode but its not that bad with Fiona's plot Twitter will get her in trouble. Dallas plot with Alli and Vanessa comes with news. This plotline with Dallas was shown through promos I think it surprised a lot of people it surprised me because I never saw this coming for Dallas. Zig's plot looks like it shows how Zig is dealing with Cam's suicide by him taking it out in anger. But even though Fiona and Dallas plot was already spoiled I think Degrassians will still enjoy the episode.
